The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is launching a new mentoring development programme to help pharmacists build confidence and improve their mentoring skills.

Launching on 29 May, Your Journey to Becoming an Effective Mentor is free for RPS members.

Developed in response to member feedback, the four-part programme runs from 29 May to 22 September 2025 and includes a series of webinars and e-learning modules:

1. Webinar - An overview of Your Journey to Becoming an Effective Mentor (29 May, 7:30-8:30pm).

2. Complete two e-learning modules (throughout June):

• Principles of mentoring

• Developing confidence and effectiveness as a mentor

3. Webinar - Overcoming Challenging Situations (8 July 7:30-8:30pm)

4. Webinar - An opportunity to reflect on your mentoring journey through peer discussion (22 September, 7:30-8:15pm).

The programme is tailored to support pharmacists at all stages of their mentoring journey – whether they’re new to mentoring or looking to further develop their skills, the Society says.
